By booking a stay at Lakeshore Manor, you ("Guest") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your reservation.
1. Reservation & Payment
All reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until full payment or a required deposit has been received. We accept payment through the methods listed at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed reservations will not be affected by subsequent price changes.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies vary depending on the booking platform used. Guests who book directly through our website are subject to the cancellation terms presented at the time of booking. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
3. Check-In & Check-Out

Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are subject to availability. Unauthorized late check-outs may result in additional charges.
4. Occupancy
The maximum occupancy for Lakeshore Manor is 14 adults and 2 children. Exceeding the maximum occupancy is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund. All guests staying at the property must be disclosed at the time of booking.
5. House Rules
By booking Lakeshore Manor, all Guests agree to comply with the following rules. Violations may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund and/or additional fees.
General Rules

No smoking or vaping inside the house or anywhere on the property.

No fireworks anywhere on the property.

No pets. Unauthorized pets incur a $300 violation fee plus all cleaning and damage costs.

No parties or events without prior written approval.

The boathouse is for owners only — do not enter.

Keep all food on the main floor.

Do not touch the decorative knight. Photos are welcome.
Noise Policy

Quiet hours: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

No outdoor music, speakers, or loud talking after 9:00 PM.

Sound carries across Woahink Lake at night — please be considerate of neighbors.
Driveway Safety

The driveway is single lane. Drive slowly and yield to vehicles already on the drive.
Safety & Security

Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.

Do not tamper with smoke detectors or security devices.

Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the lake, dock, firepit, and fireplaces.

If using the fireplace, notify the host in advance so the flue can be checked.

Never leave a fire unattended; ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the area.

Keep unscreened doors and windows closed due to local wildlife.
Cleanliness & Maintenance

Treat the home with care and respect.

Report any damage to the host immediately.

Do not rearrange furniture.

Use coasters and placemats to protect surfaces.

Start the dishwasher before checkout.

Use only designated beach towels outdoors.
Kitchen Use

Guests are welcome to use all appliances and utensils.

Clean up after cooking and eating.
-
Clean the coffee maker after use.
-
When using the barbecue: turn off the propane at the tank after use and use only designated barbecue utensils.
Outdoor Areas & Water Safety

Life jackets must be worn at all times when using paddleboards or kayaks.

It is illegal and unsafe to paddleboard or kayak in low light or darkness.

Children must be supervised near the lake at all times.

Return all outdoor items to their original locations after use.

Use only designated beach towels outdoors.
6. Damages & Fees
Guests agree to pay for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items, excessive cleaning requirements, unauthorized pet fees, and other rule violations. A security deposit may be required at the time of booking and will be returned within a reasonable timeframe following check-out, provided no damage or violations have occurred.
7. Liability Waiver
Use of the lake, dock, watercraft, fire pit, stairs, and all outdoor areas is entirely at the Guest's own risk. Lakeshore Manor and its owners are not liable for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of personal belongings during a Guest's stay. Guests assume full responsibility for themselves and all members of their party throughout the duration of their stay.
8. Oregon Short-Term Rental Regulations
Lakeshore Manor operates in compliance with applicable City of Florence and Lane County short-term rental regulations. Guests are expected to comply with all local ordinances, including noise and parking regulations, during their stay.
9. Taxes
Applicable state and local lodging/transient occupancy taxes will be applied to all direct bookings made through our website. Tax rates are subject to change in accordance with Oregon state and local law.
10. Email Communications & Privacy
By providing your email address — whether during the booking process or by voluntarily signing up — you consent to receiving communications from Lakeshore Manor, which may include booking confirmations, property updates, and occasional promotional offers. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. Force Majeure
Lakeshore Manor shall not be held liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, acts of government, or utility failures. In such cases, we will work with Guests in good faith to reschedule or issue a credit where possible.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes arising from a reservation or stay at Lakeshore Manor shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Lane County, Oregon.
13. Modifications
Lakeshore Manor reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this document. Continued use of our booking services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
